This was an odd thing I found. Just kind of tugged at me.
I was researching a POI mentioned in Zodiac reports, Edmond Virgil Mann DOB 3/3/49
That led me down a rabbit hole, I could find next to nothing on him. Then I finally found an article stating he had been shot in the head in 1979. Additionally, that article mentioned him likely NOT being connected to a Benicia set of murders that happened on 12/20/79(anniversary of LHR) In the article, there is mention of ‘Spinelli’ which is name that has come up in this case. Odd violence, odd date. Maybe coincidence?

Shiri-Dine Bana (19) was reported missing by her mother on May 10th 1979. She lived at 260 American Canyon Road No 4 in Napa. Your address for Edmond Mann was with his aunt at Flamingo Ct in 1969. If this is the Flamingo Ct in American Canyon, Southern Napa, it is only 1.3 miles from the residence of Shiri-Dine Bana, if he still lived there in 1979. Or could have visited his aunt regularly (had he moved out), and crossed paths with the young murdered woman.

Mann was born in 49, so he should have graduated 67 give or take a year. The article said he graduated Vallejo HS, and I can not find him in yearbooks around that time.
Also, talked to a reliable source about the people in the trunk and was told 100% that they are drug related, and Mann does not seem to be part of their case
