I was recently given this psychological profile for the suspect in the Santa Rosa Hitchhiker Murder cases done by Dr. Edward Shav of San Francisco. I do not know who ordered the profile but would expect it was the Sonoma County Sheriff’s Department. This was given to me by a person who is mainly interested in Bill Nelson’s Manson research and bought Nelson’s research from him. He has been giving me bits and pieces of things that do not relate directly to the Manson Family.

The handwriting on the two pages was done by Bill Nelson, except for the part where someone has lined through "The Suspect" and written in Nelson’s name. :)

I do not know much about the doctor but did find one article where he was interviewed by People magazine in 1977 because he had co-authored a book titled Good Cops/Bad Cops .

Good stuff to get your hands on seagull! Refresh my memory…what were the symbolic signs?

…they may be dealing with one or more ersatz Zodiacs–other psychotics eager to get into the act, or perhaps even other murderers eager to lay their crimes at the real Zodiac’s doorstep. L.A. Times, 1969

There was a sticks and stones symbol found at the side of Franz Valley Road when Carolyn Davis was found July 31, 1973. It was thought to be a witchcraft symbol. You can see a representation of it in the VTH article dated April 25, 1975 in the Vallejo Binder Articles.

http://www.zodiackillersite.com/viewtop … 5&start=40 A little more than halfway down the page.

There was also a representation of the symbol in a detective magazine.

http://www.zodiackiller.com/FrontPageDetective29.html

These two representations barely resemble each other, who knows which one is closer to the actual thing or if either are even close.

Interesting profile! Wish it would lead the killer to be found.

Not sure Kevin brown was even in the Santa Rosa area at all during that time, seems he was in southern CA. He also liked to take photos of graves-

And, was into Ancestry-

Scary how normal he seemed, if he was guilty

I am curious however, how did they know the sperm was his to begin with? Unless he was in the database already, how/why would they match it to him, unless he was already on the suspect list, and they recovered his DNA from trash, etc

According to the first link in Killer Chaser’s post Brown worked in the San Diego crime lab for 20 years.

http://www.sandiegouniontribune.com/new … dna-photo/

Brown, a 20-year veteran of the San Diego police crime lab, told investigators that his DNA must have shown up as a result of lab cross-contamination. But investigators said Brown never handled any of the evidence in the case.

The article continues and then says of the crime lab back at the time the original lab work was done in the 80’s-

Back in those days, criminalists often used their own blood and semen samples as a “standard” to test evidence against, von Helms said.

So, certainly Brown’s DNA would have been in the data base without his ever being a suspect.

I guess that makes sense. His suicide either seems like a guy that doesn’t want to face the music for his crimes, or doesn’t want to face it for crimes he didn’t commit

Maybe there’s a Voodoo connection here I was reading Victor Wild’s book on How to Succeed With Women published in 1981. He has a Voodoo Method it consist of making a small wooden fire and taking two pinches of Rosemary and Thyme and throwing them into the fire. Then make two small statues of your intended lover one made of paraffin wax and one of water base clay place figures near the fire. While the figures go through their transformations go back into your E/T ritual.Picture the heart of your intended lover hardening against other lovers and picture the hearts of other women melting for you.Bring up your thought power chant. As the figures respectively melt and harden you should bring yourself slowly up out of alpha state. Finally carefully cover the fire with clean dry sand? The Process Church was in New Orleans in 1968 it’s said they got into Voodoo. http://feastofhateandfear.com/archives/edsanders1.html It looks like there’s a following for Voodoo in this area. http://www.luckymojo.com/mojocatmap.html https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Catherine_Yronwode http://www.zodiackiller.com/HalloweenCard.html http://www.oldsoulsgathering.com/simple … -throwing/ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2YIO_dxyJio
