Was this case ever solved or is it in the cold case files?

Adding to my curiosity is the latest development on the east bay area rapist. Looks like that chucklehead could have been working the area when she disappeared. There are notes in this thread suggesting she called home and claimed she was ~ 1/2 hour away. That call could have come from the area close to route 37 and the intersection of 80 which is about 30 minutes east of Novato in light traffic.

no doubt, anything is possible and in some ways, her getting picked up potentially at random does really match the M.O. of the east bay area rapist.

What are your thoughts

A man who called the Pittsburg Ca PD, told them he was Zodiac and had killed all of the girls who were murdered there during the 80’s and 90’s. They didn’t want to believe he could be Zodiac, being no one had heard from Zodiac for a few yrs. Many of those murdered girls were strangled, beaten and stabbed and tortured. When I heard the killer was a older man , I did a stake out to see if he could be my Zodiac suspect? Long story short he was my suspect, who by the way has a limp. This limp in no way stops him from killing or walking up or down hills. ( He was able to climb my fence )
It is a limp that is more pronounced when he walks after sitting for a while, it lessens as he walks and is not that noticeable.

No one knows everything Zodiac is capable of, he could have changed his MO like he said he would.

How do we know that dent wasn’t caused my her abductor hitting her car to disable it, then apologize and offer her a ride? That to me could be something that Zodiac would do to get a victim in his car.

Hi TF Absolutely! This is the very same man who followed me in Vallejo starting in the winter of 1968. I never knew what his name was? I had to go by his cars license plates that I was lucky enough to get ran. Most of those plates were stolen plates and the ones that weren’t I did extensive investigating on. I took his picture on Aug. 10th 1990 I believe it is on my thread here as well as on my thread at Tom’s site , under "The Sandy Betts Story". On this site its "Sandy’s POI". Over the yrs I have shown his picture to everyone I meet. Finally I found someone who said they knew him as Tony aka Anthony, but wasn’t sure what his last name is? He thought it could be Silva, souza, Martinez? That he lived in Benicia before moving to Antioch. He worked for a construction company in Benicia. I found the name of that company, it is called Lathrop Construction Associates INC.
They have two Executives named Anthony, one is D’Amante the other is Anthony Reed, so I am not sure if I should take the chance of going there to show his picture and get a last name, or if this could put me in more danger? I have the job number of when he worked at building the new Antioch police department, back in the 1990’s. That should help narrow it down. The person who gave me that name has recently told me he has heard from Tony’s girl friend that Tony died some months back. I looked at the local paper for any obituary in Contra Costa County f,or the past year with the first name of Anthony or Tony. I found a couple of them , but they were either too old or too you

The Calif. death list is not up to date but there is one site "Legacy.com" where I was able to put in only the name Anthony and found many who died in Antioch, but again too young or too old. The very first one on that site happened to be one that I investigated back in the late 80’s who was only 5ft 6 so I stopped looking at him. His name was given to me by a person who pretended to be one of Darlene’s sisters. Turns out she was hired by someone to get what ever information I had. Her name was Lenita Robinson born 1957 I think? She died very young in Las Vegas and had married a few times sense I met her. She also lived in Vallejo and Napa! My suspect named Anthony aka Tony is 5 ft 8 or 10 about 200 pounds , had brown curly hair, size 10 and 1/2 shoe. He has all of the scars on his face that Kathleen Johns said her abductor had. His voice is raspy or husky and talks slowly. He has a slight limp and a lazy eye that DOJ said Zodiac has. TF if you know of a site that gives the Calif. death list that is up to 2019, please let me know. This guy is about 80 to 85 yrs old right now if he hasn’t died? His girl friend could have been told to say he died? He didn’t call me a few weeks ago for my birthday which is unusual, so maybe he did die a few months ago? Thanks for any help you can give!

So if you found out that this man, who called the Pittsburg Ca PD, WAS indeed your suspect, then how did you find that out? and what was the identity of that man ?

So if you found out that this man, who called the Pittsburg Ca PD, WAS indeed your suspect, then how did you find that out? and what was the identity of that man ?

Doing my own stake out and seeing him at the location where most of the girls were picked up was what convinced me I was onto something. He removed his license plates from his car to prevent from being caught.
I saw a blog on line that Zamantha gave me the link to, from a new Detective who now has the case of the murdered girls. he was looking for an older Hispanic looking man. I knew my suspect looked Hispanic especially in the summer time, because he worked outside in the sun and he was about 50 yrs old back then. ( Winter he is much lighter. )I had information about my suspect and had witnesses that escaped being killed by him, they made a positive ID of the man I have a picture of. So I went to that Detective to tell him what I knew about my suspect. And I gave him the names of the girls who got away from him. That Det, wasn’t the one who told me about the phone call, that came from a retired Det. who still has an interest in those cases and came to my home to ask me questions and pick up copies of his picture and some notes and letters I have received from my suspect. Being I had the names of girls who knew what the killer looked like and that they said the man I have a picture of is that man. That peeked the interest of both Det.

When the caller placed the call , he didn’t tell the police his name, all he said was he was the Zodiac and had killed all of the girls. Then he told them where to find Andrea Ingersols body. The only identity the police and I have of this man is he used the name Anthony and Tony, we do not know his last name. My suspect is their killer, therefore he has to also be the person who placed that call to tell them where to find my daughters friends body. They have to be the same person, who else would it be?

I also gave the police RH’s name and let them know he was seen with Anthony, so they are looking at him also. The last I heard from that Det, was a few days ago and he said he was going to meet with one of the girls who ID’d my suspect as the man who tried to kill her.

I let the Det know that I handed out several pictures to many of the prostitutes that were being targeted. Shortly after that ,I received one of those pictures in my PO Box ! None of those girls knew my name let alone my PO Box! It had to come from my suspect, letting me know he killed one of the girls I gave a picture to. That tells me he indeed is the killer and I am pretty sure that convinced the Det. this is the right guy. I know I wrote a long explanation, but I don’t know how else to explain it in a way that hopefully makes sense. One more thing, the girls said that they thought he was a construction worker. Tony is a construction worker and dumped one of the girls in a port a potty at a construction site in Pittsburg.
