Anybody have a nice clear copy of this letter?

I’ve seen "The Car" and it’s not too bad a movie, if you like that sort of thing. (Think of "Christine" by Stephen King, minus the good acting, characterisation, special effects and budget, and you’re there.) The story about how the car used in the film was purchased, restored, sold to recover costs and so on is also interesting. (If you like cars.)
Is there anything "Z-like" in the movie? Nope.

To echo Nacht, "I [too] can’t understand how or why anyone would conclude that the 1987 letter has any degree of authenticity to it, however small."

This is speculation at this point but I was glancing at the 86 and 87 letters and I wonder if …. the 86 letter is a hoax trying to copy Zodiac by referring to Zodiac’s actual letters but the 87 letter is a hoax trying to copy Zodiac but not by referring to the original but by trying to copy the 86 letter thinking it was accurate in styling.

I still have to look at these in detail (curses) because it’s not so straight forward as just looking at them. There are however little indicators of non authenticity. The height of the crossbars on the 87 letter and the use of capitals in the middle of sentences in the 86 letter.

Think I got those the right way round, I’m not actually looking at them at the mo.
