Well at least we know that John C. Verga has roots in San Fran., on both his parents side of the family.

The three results are the 1930 census, a 1930 SF City Directory and a 1931 SF City Directory. Pretty much what I’ve already posted, the 1930 city directory is virtually the same as the 1931. I think there is a family tree in the name Nellie Raffanti. I’ll go look.

Here is Nancy Senor, Frank’s wife. Says she is living and in her 60’s, so she is not Nellan.

Nellan’s Family tree has her name as Nellie, probably a nick name. It only has Charles (Carlo) Verga as a spouse but we know she had the last name of Lopez when she died. It’s a couple of pages back in this thread.

Yes, the 1910 and 1920 censuses have her listed as Nellie. the 1930 and 1940 as Nellan.

Yes, I thought that or John handled her estate and all the paperwork went to his address making it look like Nellan lived with them.

That could be. John and Dawnita’s children have been listed at the same address as well, making me believe that the kids grew up in this house.

John C. Verga – President of Westgate Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses in San Jose, CA. Also shows John C. Varga and John C. Vargas. Says he is in his 50’s, so this is probably the guy I think is John’s son, John Christopher Verga, but I have not confirmed that he is John’s son.

Pigeons Of Paradise Pigeon Club, Chico, CA… just west of Paradise, CA.

Edward Hadley – Albany HS Class of 1955 lived on Kains Ave, 4 streets behind Evelyn. Haven’t found a DOB on him yet, but he would have been 9 or 10 in 1947. Now lives in Ogden, UT I think.

Got another guy on Kains Ave., 612 Kains Ave., who has also lived in San Fran., San Diego and Fresno. No DOB on him yet, but he was around the same age as Pigeon Boy.

Not sure if this would be the right guy (says age 65, which would be incorrect), but check out his known addresses. 927 Talbot Ave. That is almost directly behind the Keating address.
