Have been trying to upload a Photoshop image but "PSD not allowed". saved as gif but the file is too big. Anyone any advice on how to get around this.
Thanks.

I assume you’re using photoshop so in your file menu go down to ‘save for web’ it will allow you to resize to something suitable and produce a gif or jpeg of adjustable quality, what ever you prefer. As for size something around 600 – 800 pixels for largest dimensions is usually grand and 1024 if ya need big.

BTW. No site will allow you to upload a PSD as it’s layered and as such it’s a file format not an image format.

Yes I had the same problem. morf is aware of the problem and will hopefully have it resolved soon. In the meantime I’ve been using http://www.servimg.com/ .

It’s free image hosting. Just register, upload your image and choose your size then copy n paste the bbcode image address it gives you. We used this on the old board to host images and it’s the easiest workaround I’ve found.

Just a head’s up. This has now been sorted so attachments can be uploaded the normal way again.
