That news was placed on this site under "Hello It’s Me" in unconfirmed letters about 7 years ago BD Holland. The letter-writer who stated "Daniel" very likely made a mistake. He should have stated "Darron". This missing child, Darron Glass, was deemed part of the Atlanta Child Murders. Here is a piece I wrote about it in May 2020.

Yes I can see it can go both ways in your explanation. However I think I can give good reason why the sinister version could indeed be Daniel and that is his twin brother reaching out to him. Maybe Don felt Dan was up to his old tricks again and wanted to put a stop to him. He may have believed his brother had surfaced there restarting his Zodiac enterprise again because of the new Zodiac letter only to realize that it wasn’t him later when the Atlanta Child murderer Wayne Williams was arrested for the crimes. Maybe the Zodiac did send the letter to try and take credit. So it’s just another angle to explain why Daniel without needing to resort to some ‘mistake’ or ‘error’.

"FRY night" is another good candidate for a possible reference to this POI’s surname.

The photo with the arms crossed, can you tell what it was for? It seems everyone else in your photo have theirs crossed. I ask because there is a photo of Ted Kaczynski with arms crossed, pale belt, made in a photo studio. He was dressed “clean” in it.

It looks like a photo made to be publicized. Curious to know what the context was for your guy, could help figure what was Ted’s.

Body language interpretation aren’t a science but psychologists do use them… as well as homicide detectives during interrogations. Never make it into the courtroom though.

I honestly have zero knowledge of secret signs, codes and special handshakes and all that stuff.

However I have enough evidence to know that my POI was well in with many organisations associated with masonic type orders and fraternities.

The thing is they are all associated with every major function in a town also. Bank managers, Mayors, etc. Anyone who is somebody is on some council and a member of these groups back in the 60s.

Yes and he got beat up by high school students at a game in Vallejo and was insulted by the Zodiac newspapers. His twin brother was on the team. A bus was also involved in the incident. I am guessing the bus driver shut the door on the team and wouldn’t allow them in to escape the fight. His name was mentioned and there was a back and forth between newspapers and sports journalists.

Page 87 of the Vallejo Police Department’s Crime Report Supplement dated 6-19-70 noted that the Zodiac sent a couple two tickets to an Oakland game. It is such a strange thing to do. Why would the Zodiac do such a thing? Was it because he held some grudge against the couple? Did he plan to attend and observe them from afar? Was it something to do with the possibility of a connection to some target? Whatever the cause, we can show a pathway here to our POI.

It reads:
6-19-70 6p RO while searching for a missing boy in the area of the MI Little League ball park was contacted by a Barbara (censored) WF (censored). (censored) stated that she received in todays mail a letter addressed to Gerald (censored) bearing a June 18 Vallejo post mark, letter contained 2 tickets to the Oakland A’s baseball game for 6-20 tickets were wrapped in a piece of paper with the worlds, GIFT FROM ZODIAC, (censored) stated she knows of no one that would send such a letter to her residence. RO was unable to question (censored) further due to RO being on a detail at this time. (Censored) was advised to contact a investigator after 8p this date. Letter kept by RO and tagged into evidence with the least amount of handling possible. (Censored) stated the letter had been handled by 3 other persons besides herself. There is a slight similarity between the writing in the letter and samples of Zodiac hand writing.

Mike Morford was able to find out that the man who received the letter worked at Mare Island Shipyard, as an Electrician.
In his obituary, he is described as a die-hard Cowboy fan, probably meaning Dallas Cowboys as he was originally from Texas.

Tickets to sporting events were sold by one of the twins from the very car tire service station that he worked. Not only that, but he was selling them three months before this possible Zodiac Oakland ticket was sent. Also the tickets sold by the POI were for Oakland sporting events. It should be noted that Oakland A’s are a baseball team, but the Oakland tickets here are for football and basketball.

“…. The Raders off-season basketballers will use 6-9 Ben Davidson at center Thursday night when they play the Piner Coaches in a benefit game at 8 p.m at Piner High School… Tickets are on sale at (POI’s place of work) Tire Co. and the Piner High School business office.

They have been selling sports tickets since at least 1968. Probably because their background is the big three – football, basketball, and baseball.

I since learned that one of the couple, the wife, played extensively in bowling league championships while in Carlsbad, New Mexico. Many of these leagues also feature lodges and tire companies for that matter, including Goodyear (Goodyear can be found in Carlsbad Current-Argus 12th Jan 1964).

In this example from Carlsbad Current-Argus (Carlsbad, New Mexico) 24th, Oct 1965 we have both the lady and the Knights of Columbus.

Interestingly enough, the tire company we are talking about also had a bowling team. They were often the losers (if not coming last all the time), even being beaten by the local Highway Patrol.

I think this is another promising connection. Zodiac and sports is a theme. We have lodges and tire companies involved in these games. I would suggest that she joined a team in Vallejo and as part of that team is how the Zodiac came in contact with her. Also, the various Chambers of Commerce had teams in bowling tournaments.

Have you posted this in another thread before? I know I have read about that somewhere, probably at least 3 years ago.

This was a find I made mid 2019. I didn’t develop the LE connection until the end of 2019 and start of 2020. What you see here is the work I did in 2020 to the summer of 2020.

I put this on Reddit and TV’s site and I think one or two others but retracted them from some of those places when I got the feedback I needed.

That pretty much ends right there TV’s argument this work I am doing isn’t a valid POI. They based all that Waterson research on three points. His lips look like the composite. He was airforce. He was in the very general area.

All this will move forward the day an official decides they are just as fed up like most people that a POI gets a pass because they are LE. It is only when there is above and beyond the evidence needed to look into LE characters that they do it (Joseph James DeAngelo for example). The Zodiac knew this. His face was on the composite. He left loads of evidence behind. The only way the Zodiac got away with it was because of WHO he is.

I did a lot more work this year that has led me to believe he directly manipulated the case by interfacing with LE. I think LE know this. I think it is the big embarrassment that they don’t want made public which is just as much a goal as finding the Zodiac. The Zodiac knew all this. They just didn’t know which one of them he was or how he was good at making suggestions that filtered through the ranks and set them off on wild goose chases. He knew if he was caught he would embarrass them still. It was a win win situation for him. Hence why he was so brazen. He hates LE because he was an underachieving LE possibly demoted to a prison guard or menial work. That’s basically it coupled with a strong hatred of kids from Vallejo/Napa and I would say kids in general. Which is why I think he is a good candidate for the Santa Rosa Hitchhiker Murders too.

This was a minimum of 3 years ago, I think somebody asked me to help research someone or something and I had read about the incident. It was well before "Waterson" was ever brought up. I’ll take a look through my website and see if I posted about it on there.

I recommend a book called Lost Coast Highway by Gray George. I was shocked at how the families of the Santa Rosa Hitchhiker victims were mistreated. The Zodiac as LE makes heaps of sense there.

Today I learned there is possibly a cash reward for identifying the Zodiac.
