Seems like the Votes are pretty split, but most people believe that Zodiac had some sort of involvement in the Bates case

Honestly, the confession letter we will never know for sure. Unless the typewriter is found, and traced to someone.
As for the letters we have the documents expert that says they are from Zodiac.
So there is no reason to doubt this as I see it. To admit his involvement to the killing with out knowing the killer or
knowing that no one else is going to be convicted for it is just too much chance to be proven a liar(not that Zodiac hasn’t
lied before). I just don’t see the logic in admitting to it without being the killer. Traveler has done a great job of comparing the writing on the desktop with Zodiac writing from letters. My vote is that Zodiac has done this crime and wrote what evidence we have. There is too much pointing to it being him for me to think otherwise.
