Here’s the Memo sent from Riverside PD to Napa. For being so locked onto their own suspect, they seem to be pretty open to the idea of Napa’s case being ‘similar’.
Also, the memo mentions that the RPD recovered prints from Cheri’s car from the hood area. These prints were sent to the FBI, and they even list the file # . So, let’s at least hope that the Zodiac prints were compared to the Bates prints.
