Here is an article I have never come across in relation to CJB. Appears the police were looking into another crime of kidnapping as being related to CJB. It was a girl named Linda Gillinger. This was from San Bernardino County Sun on Dec 9, 1966 and appears from the article the abduction took place on Wednesday Dec 7, 1966.
So this Linda lee Gillinger is in the same year book as Cheri Jo bates?

Linda Lee Gillinger is on page 75 and I am thinking she married Glen E Williams (not confirmed) on the 8-2-68 he is on page 86 of the 66 Tequesquite yearbook.

I believe Linda and Glen still live in Riverside if its the same couple.. I wonder if she would remember her abductors face if she saw it in a photo.. eg (ross, ted, etc) Although it would be a bit traumatic revisiting this as it would have been terrifying knowing what happened to a fellow school member a few months earlier.
Very little in papers about this.. as if it has been suppressed considering such a major abduction so soon after Cheri’s murder.
