Except that at Riverside the size of the boot is 8 1/2 and at Berryessa it’s a 10. People tend to forget that.

Yep. More inescapable evidence clearly demonstrating that The Zodiac didn’t kill CJB.

As for the poem and the CJB Confession letter…not much commonality amongst them besides the creative lit angle and the fact that the poem’s writing somewhat matches that of The Zodiac’s letters to Bay Area newspapers. I did a graphical comparison between the poem and Zodiac’s known writing and found that although some of the letters matched pretty well, many did not. In fact some were so bluntly different I had to conclude that The Zodiac probably didn’t write the DP, even if superficially it looks like he did. I can see though why Morrill thought otherwise….

To this day, no one knows any more than they did in 1974, really, but people always have their theories…

I don’t see anybody ‘trolling’ here, just a Friendly debate on both sides. I agree, the footprint evidence not seeming to match between Z & Bates, as well as the smaller sz man’s wtach. As I have been saying all along, I think it’s quite possible that Z was ONLY the letter writer and NOT the killer of Bates,so shoe size not matching isn’t a big deal to me.
By the way, I just asked a Guy I work with for his measurements He is 5ft7,230 lbs,and sz 10 shoe sz for whatever thats worth

may be..hartnells use is not surprising to me..he would have heard it often in legal classes..look, I get it and yes there is zilch evidence this is a Z crime..I also agree since 1974 every letter is suspect and the case went cold…But part of me still thinks D/E and CJB still holds a key card to identity of Z..not without hope but yea its prolly a very small % of hope
