Another thing that bugs me re the Bates murder. Where were the other students, and the librarians? I should imagine the librarians took, say, a half hour to secure the library. When they came out, Cheri and her killer-to-be should have been occupied with her car. Alternatively, the librarians should have been on the premises, and heard Cheri’s screams. Is there any info re when the librarians left the premises?
Also, what time is the School library open till on a Sunday night? After 9 seems late to me

Is it possible Cheri was working on a assignment and lost track of time ,not leaving the building until 9:45 or 10pm
gets to her car 5 min. later 10:05 ish
tries to get it running for 3-5 min. 10:08pm
enter you know who talks and looks at the motor 5-7 min. 10:15pm
He helps and plays/cons with her by letting it spark and then not spark , says he is working on it 10-20 min. she thinking it will now fired up & run soon . 10:25- 35 pm
or if it was really 9:30 and she left the building at 9pm explains the 1/2 hour.
