So, yes, Beronio could have known these facts from the paper. He added one thing of interest, that the suspect was involved with ‘dope’. We know it’s possible, Darlene was too, and some theorize, she may have been there to score some.

Beronio actually told his Mother in law the man’s name, but she couldnt remember it. When police questioned him, he denied everything, and mentioned that the ONLY person he talked to was a friend named JAY R. KEITH. I would like to learn more about him in case. I think he was either Vallejo HS or Hogan HS, class of 68,if memory serves. Anybody have one of those yearbooks.

He graduated Vallejo HS class of 68, but he was absent for his senior pic, and he is not anywhere in the 67 book..oh well

That could be, but if he didnt have the car, how would Beronio know it was brown? I am okay with finding out that Beronio & his wife were playing a joke on his Mother in law, and he was lying. I am just afraid that he actually may have known something and was lying because he feared for his safety, or was covering for somebody. On those possibilities, he could have known Z.

I actually have been speaking with his Cousin, and he passed my info along to his Brothers who were living in Vallejo during 69(the cousin I spoke to was not). Maybe they have more info. Like I said, I mailed a letter to Beronio’s ex wife, but she never replied

One of the witnesses in the BRS reports, was a guy named DONALD BERONIO. His story is a very interesting one as seen below;

Whatever clues this couple may have held, they took to their graves. Donald died in 1992, I was going to make another run at his ex-wife Terry that was a witness, but she died in 2017

The most intriguing thing about this is (if it’s true) – why the hell would some stranger try and get a lift by saying they were involved in a shooting? That makes zero sense. If the mother in law is telling the truth then Beronio had to have known the guy.
