That’s a good point, Tahoe. What if, for some reason, Zodiac placed it in the position it was found? (No idea why he would do that, but maybe it meant something to him?)

My guess would be the bullet to the brain brought on a seizure causing muscles to tighten. Hands/fingers tend to tighten and curl.

I’m reading Doug Oswell’s book, "The Unabomber and the Zodiac." He spends a fair amount of time discussing Kaczynski’s fascinations with Richard Wagner’s Ring Cycle. It’s a longshot, but that could be a connection to the ring at LHR.
