He IS in the 1970 Vallejo directory,thats how I found him, however, it does not list his occupation.

His name was WAYNE F. LASS. Married to (?) Donna Lea Lass . He would be 77 today if he was alive,but I think he died in 1999.

So,open it up for the conspiracy theorists…what if the ‘wrong’ Donna Lass was killed?

Also, think for one second about the xmas card sent to Donna Lass(mailed from Pleasanton). Assuming for one moment that it was really from Z, how would he know the address if Donna’s sister in another state, with a different last name? That could indicate somebody who knew the Family mailed it. Then again, Mike Cole mentioned this back in 2006:

She married into that name. She did attend Vallejo High School.

Donna lived in SF with a lady who also attended Vallejo High School and became a nurse. All the friends (nurses) lived in SF together.

My point is, the guy Donna Lass in Vallejo married, Wayne, was from South Dakota. That’s where Donna’s sister lived. I think it’s likely they are related,even if the name DONNA is just a coincidence.

Maybe you can find out if Mary & Donna were related to anybody named WAYNE, born in SD on 7/27/36? He was living in 1940 in Sioux Falls, Minnehaha, South Dakota,at 714 Menlo Ave the same town Mary lived, they are almost certainly related!

And the same one who lived in SF and married a woman named Donna? Hell yes. Even if it means nothing, it damn intereresting!

In the 1940 census, I think Donna’s Sister was 4-5 years old or so, and I think I found her living in Prairie, Union, South Dakota, with sisters, Patricia & Joan (Donna not born yet).

Wayne was listed in the 1940 census as living in Sioux Falls, Minnehaha, South Dakota (where Mary lived when she got the xmas card)

These two locations are 7 hours apart,but anything is possible,relatives can live in different parts of the same state.

In 1940 census, they were not living in Sioux Falls. Not sure where they were living in 1944 when Donna was born.

Donna’s siblings were, Mary, Joan,Patricia, and Marjorie,Raymond & Gene. Parents were Frances & James. For what its worth, Donna was youngest, and Raymond & Gene were ALOT older than Donna, by 15-25 years or so
