I had some good conversations with her. On the phone and many emails. She never recalled flying with Donna. She remember herself having flown in the Bay Area, but had no recollection of Donna ever going.

I seem to recall that Mary Pilker? I believe is her name, Donna’s sister, had turned all questions about Donna over to her son, or was it her nephew. Must have been on TV’s site? And I believe she even gave contact info of the son/nephew. anyone recall that? The Wayne/Donna family connection you folks have uncovered to me is very substantial. Didn’t they also recover Donna’s address book from her place? Has anyone ever seen that? I would think Mary would have been given that when she came out for Donna’s things.

Oh no, I wasn’t saying Mary turned the address book over to anyone. I don’t know that. I was just saying I remember it was mentioned that they found Donna’s address book at her place when the police investigated her place. I think that’s how they found contact names for Donna. I was saying I thought that Mary probably got that book.when she came for Donna’s stuff, I’d read that Mary had turned all case questions over to either her son or a nephew. I looked Mary up yesterday and found her Sioux Falls, SD address and phone number. I won’t share it here, but anyone can find it. What I did find is that Mary was married to a Jim Pilker. Jim unfortunately passed away a few years back. Now it currently shows that Mary lives in Oakland, Ca. I didn’t research that out yet, but it seems very likely. Remember I said a son or nephew had taken over case questions, I think it’s her nephew. His name is Damon Abrille, he lives in Fremont. Thus maybe why Mary moved to Oakland? they seem to be very close.
Mary has a FB Acct., but it”s under her husband’s name, Jim Pilker. It seems Jim was a Navy guy, stationed at Treasure Island, back in the day. He continued to keep in contact with his Bay Area friends, even though he wound up in SD. I didn’t have time to go through anything else, and kind of rushed through this. I don’t have Ancestry, or any search software any longer, so perhaps someone who does can find out all the details.

Now the site does show assorted local Bay Area pics, some with her nephew, and others with friends. Like I said I didn’t have a lot of time to find all this, so if I could find it that quickly, than anyone else could as well.
As far as Z goes than the reasoning applies to everything on these sites. My thought is that Mary is snow birding it out here, and getting away from the SD winter, and enjoying herself. The fact that she hasn’t shut down her SD address suggests to me she’s still actively in her home. Mary poses no threat to Z, and I believe visa versa at this stage of his life. I was 17, in 1969, I turn 65 this year, Z was a bit older than I, I don’t feel Z poses a threat to anyone, any longer.

Too bad that what we "think" and what could be may not be that same. If I am correct and my suspect is fact Zodiac, he is still very dangerous according to the woman who survived his knife attack in the 1990’s. Kathleen Johns was not a threat to Zodiac, yet he harassed her for yrs after she got away from him. "Maybe" Mary would be safe from being killed by him, but "none" of you know or can possibly understand the torment he can put upon a person. It is just much easier not to give personal information about people connected to any Zodiac victim on any of these Zodiac sites, is what I think.
PM’s work fine to give to the people who can do something productive with the information.
Don’t just assume that because of his age, he is not dangerous! My suspect is probably about 78 yrs old, very healthy looking for his age as am I. I have to carry a gun 24/7 because I know he is dangerous just from being shot at by him.
If it weren’t for taking his picture and giving it to the police after being shot at, I would not be alive today telling you what I know, I am very sure of that. Sad that Darlene didn’t do the same thing to protect herself. But she didn’t "think" he would kill her.

Again 1990’s 20 years ago, KJ 45+ years ago. Everything I mentioned here was on public notice directories, and I stated that. What you’re suggesting here is no one, including you, should be naming anybody at any time, all should be done on PM’s. Cause anyone that is mentioned you could be endangering them. I’ve never seen anyone uphold this standard, including you. I didn’t share Mary’s SD info cause i figured from what we know, the person who killed Donna had Mary’s info 45+ years ago. But I sure have seen a ton of info posted on all the sites. No complaints from me, and none from you, until now…
As for Darlene, very sad that she was killed by Z. Not sure she had any knowledge who the guy was, knew the guy at all. There’s been no proof of that. If she had any foreknowledge of the event I doubt she would go up and park at a secluded park at midnight. Also why I never bought the "We were chased all night", story.
Public info that the people themselves (Mary) provide doesn’t warrant a PM to anyone. These are ridiculous comments Sandy.
Not sure that you giving a pic to the police saved your life, I think the guy missing the shot is what saved your life. Maybe it was just a warning shot? Not like the cops found this guy and threatened him, how would he even know they have a pic of him. I don’t see how that impacts his future actions against you.

He knew that I took his picture , he phoned me that evening with a threat to myself and the person I brought along for my back up. A few days later he called again and I told him that I gave the pictures to the police, that if anything happened to me, even if he hid my body like he did with Donna Lass, that his picture would be on TV and he would be caught. I let him know that I wasn’t afraid of being killed , if it meant that he would be caught. That was when he threatened the lives of my 5 children.
I was never shot at again or forced off of the road after that. He did other things to try and make it look like it was an accident.
20, 30, 40 yrs this man hasn’t changed , he is still very dangerous.
Mentioning the names of people is not what I am worried about, it is telling where they can be found that makes it easy for a sicko like Zodiac to torment her or worse.
I don’t see any purpose of doing that? Why should we make it easy for him is what I am trying to convey.

I have no idea what your issue is. You’re citing me for releasing public info, and I stated up front it was public info that I found in minutes on FB. You say we all should be PMing each other with such info. Yet you’ve posted on these boards with far more detailed and hidden info for years. Case in point Wayne Lass, and his wife’s name who is still living who may be related to Donna. You put that lady at risk. And this is a weak example. I could find a thousand of them and you know it. That is the purpose of these boards to share info. If people can only PM each other, and keep that info to themselves, cause according to you they can’t be posting it here, than we might as well have all these sites shut down. Because her FB page mentions Oakland, and your guy, RH might live in Oakland, you state we should only PM each other. And we have 0 reason to relate RH to Donna at all. And RH could be dead, there will never be a way to know when he dies, or moves, or anything he does in his life. You can’t track initials.
