Australia’s "Mr Cruel" is an unidentified serial rapist, pedophile, kidnapper and suspected child killer, whose known crimes span from 1987 to 1990. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mr_Cruel

There are extraordinary similarities between the crimes of Cruel and GSK:

– Breaking into homes to target victims
– Surveillance of targets
– Balaclava disguise
– Long hair
– Ransacking
– Threatening victims with knife or gun
– Demanding money
– Cutting phone lines
– Binding victims
– Preparing and eating meals while victims were captive

Joseph DeAngelo is linked to Australasia, having served on the USS Canberra during his Vietnam tour. His father DeAngelo Sr served in Australia in WW2 and lived in South Korea until his death in 1995.

Unsurprisingly, Australian and US law enforcement have considered a GSK-Cruel link. https://www.sfgate.com/bayarea/article/ … 860517.php

DeAngelo being Cruel would depend on him progressing to fixation on child murder/rape, and presumably faking an Australian accent (victims would probably have mentioned an American accent – GSK did disguise his voice).

It might seem unlikely, but can we underestimate an offender we already know as monstrously evil and prolific? I don’t think so.

GSK’s youngest rape victim was 13 (during his EAR period) and he murdered Claude Snelling who was protecting his 16 year old daughter from kidnapping.

not him. mr cruel was short. in fact not much taller than one of the girls as he did not stoop when he walked with her with his arm over her shoulder. jjd over 5;10
no american accent. vic pol have a prime suspect but no dna evidence as it was accidentally thrown out during a move of police stations. this case changed the way vicpol collect, store and process evidence and operate all cases. one of the most professional police forces in the world. vic police have also dismissed him as being mr cruel.

Fair points mr lowe.

Could Cruel have known about the EAR/ONS cases? I doubt many in Australia were familiar in the 80/90s, but extreme similarities like preparing meals while victims are bound remain outstanding.
