lol, i actually came by that moniker honestly- I have driven vans for years and I always loved Scooby Doo, and mysteries- i had a wee mystery club in 4th grade- we all carried baby powder and scotch tape to lift fingerprints. 
Friends of mine started calling my van "the Mystery Machine" and then I became a VJ, doing live visual improv, and I needed a name for myself. A friend said, "THE MYSTERY MACHINE" which is fitting since so many people have no idea what I mean when I say "live visual improv" ; ).
Anyway, I am a total nerd. Thanks for the welcome.

Hahaha. What was it that shocked you smithy? SCOTCH TAPE I suspect (good catch btw) or is there a repressed memory involving baby powder that we don’t want to dig into?
