Well, to be honest, I never would have guessed I’d be on this site, but I watched the History Channel show and it piqued my interest.

One thing that probably led to this was my former career in law enforcement. For 14 years, I worked as a police officer. Then a third knee surgery brought that phase of my life to a close. I went from being a cop to teaching 7-12 English classes. One would think that’s quite a leap, but I always enjoyed working with young people and saw teaching as a chance to turn some of them from the wrong path early on. I retired from full time teaching in 2010 and plan to quit subbing when I turn 65 next March.

I have an associate’s degree in Police Science, a Bachelor’s degree in English education, and a Master’s degree in quality schools. I was one of those oddball students who actually enjoyed linguistics classes in college, so the Zodiac killer fascinates me on more than one level.

Zodiac is interesting, but I seriously doubt anyone will ever be prosecuted for the crimes he committed as he is more than likely dead by now. If Ross Sullivan was Zodiac, then we know for sure he’s long dead. I don’t know if any of the suspects are still living as a matter of fact. I hope to learn more about them here.

On a personal level, I have been married for 45 years (to the same woman). I have two sons and one daughter, each of whom has provided me with two grandchildren, three boys and three girls. I’m a bowhunter and fly fisherman, but family comes first.
