Hi fellow curious minds. Just a quick post of introduction for a newbie on this site, and thank you admin for activation.
I am Sean from England and I’ve been interested in codecs/ciphers and puzzles as a hobby for a number of years, one of which is the Voynich Manuscript. I’m studying English Literature and Creative Writing which includes a lot of studying the humanities and arts, and the origins of languages and communication using methods that require an aptitude of keeping an open mind when trying to make sense of the past. The Zodiac case and its puzzle is fettering on becoming obsessive just like the VM, so to cut a long story short I’m hoping you guys and gals, who know a lot more about the case than I, can shed some curiosities which I will be asking in the relevant sections concerning the 340 cipher, and a method which I think makes logical and coherent sense to reading it, which I am hoping the community can look at to see if it is viable.
I might end up asking questions that many have already asked and most likely talk out of my butt on some things, so please forgive me in advance- but hey-ho- I have been taught that there is no such thing as a stupid question, because what may seem silly now could inspire another idea and avenue to look down for someone else.
So, please be gentle and I look forward to some theory-crafting in the future.
