I think I had read somewhere that the case was reopened because of LK? Is this true?
If so what were the results of this new investigation into LK?

This guy has done an enormous amount of work on Kane, unearthing old documents and articles about the guy. I looked at his website today and he doesn’t have anything about the case being reopened because of Kane so my guess is that it hasn’t happened. The material he has gathered is worth looking at though.

Did he have a case? I know he was a suspect in some people’s eyes, but there wasn’t really a case, ya know?

Kane was investigated sometime in the late ’80s – early ’90s after Harvey Hines went on a tabloid media blitz…nothing came of it. Perhaps that’s what the OP is referring to?

Yes this may be what I was thinking of. I had it in my head the case was reopened due to new leads regarding LK. But im possibly mistaken. Whatever the case LK sure is an interesting suspect.
