While my TV was on in the background the other night, an advertisement came on for the next programme and one word caught my attention… "Zodiac".

I learned after watching part of the show, and subsequently researching it on the internet that British Car Manufacturer ‘Ford’ released two new make’s of vehicle in the 50’s and released updated versions of these models up to 1972. The names of these two models of vehicle were the Ford Zephyr and the Ford Zodiac. In 1953 Ford launched the ‘Zephyr Zodiac’ model. Wikipedia quotes the following:

"Production began with the Consul on January 1, 1951. The Mark I model ran until 1956. From April 1956 the Mark II Consul, Zephyr, and Zodiac went on sale and were known as the Three Graces. The Mark II range was popular and finished its run in 1962, when from April that year the Mark III Zephyr 4, Zephyr 6 and Zodiac went on sale."

We know Kane lived in ‘Zephyr Cove’. Is this another clue that he is hiding in plain sight? Zodiac is in Zephyr cove? Maybe

I am the first to admit that this is just another coincidence and circumstantial at best. I am not claiming this is anything other than that. However, to quote one detective speaking about circumstantial evidence, "One of two pieces of circumstantial evidence means very little, even nothing. But when you have a lot of circumstantial evidence pointing at one suspect, that then becomes actual evidence".

Kane was a former Car dealer by all accounts so if anybody would have known about these two makes of car, Kane would have.

Ty UKSpy….

I don’t think Cane landed up in Zephyr Cove by accident. I think it’s a clue. Ford Zephyr, Zephyr Zodiac. Putting clues there and playing games like that sounds typical Zodiac.

See I absolutely love hearing this, and it’s something I tend to see regularly when Kane is mentioned.

" keep in mind, ALL the "evidence" pointing at Larry Kane is circumstantial. There’s not an ounce that isn’t… Let’s try not to start redundant threads every other week…"

Yes, shut up about Kane! We have a mental image of Zodiac and Kane isn’t who we want Zodiac to be now go away because I don’t like how good a case you make for Kane and I am terrified you could be right and I cannot allow this no matter what.

Lol. Btw, the above quote if from a site and thread regarding Kane that I had nothing to do with. It just amazes me how many people seem to think that Zodiac’s identity is dependant on who they decide is worthy. It also never ceases to amaze me how there are those, one person in particular, who will insist that former long time Law Enforcement employee and Police Detective Mr Harvey Hines is, quote "A idiot, that’s the most logical conclusion I can think of. Harvey is a very shady individual" and says his reasons for this are, among others "The logic Hines used to reach his conclusion that Kane is Zodiac."

Now I will put aside the fact that he’s indirectly claiming that California officials are employing shady, untrustworthy characters who are incompetent idiot’s who cannot be trusted to investigate crimes, forget that’s what he’s insinuating for a second for me to point out that this same person who must insist on the source of a claim be only the most credible, upstanding, squeaky clean individual who is competent to make such a claim, this same person has accepted as if it was Biblical truth the allegations made by a man who Ken Narlow, along with many others, had long ago dismissed as a crackpot who was non credible due to him giving a different answer to the same question depending on what day it was of the week! It is laughable, absolutely laughable. You couldn’t make that up in a non-fiction crime novel, it would be too unbelievable! But it’s true in this case!

The Exorcist Letter concerned the movie and novel by William Peter Blatty. Groucho Marx recited Tit Willow and was a lifelong friend of Blatty. Blatty appeared on Groucho Marx’s ‘You bet your life’, and won a prize of $10,000. He stated that he was going to use the cash to work on a novel, that novel was The Exorcist.
Blatty also wrote ‘Twinkle,Twinkle Killer Kane’ in 1966. In this story based around madness Kane states ‘every man who has ever lived has been born with desire for perfect happiness. But unless there is an afterlife, fulfillment of this desire is a patent impossibility’.

Interesting UKSpy, had not heard of T T Killer Kane. I am guilty of instantly associating WPB with his most famous and iconic picture The Exorcist. Blatty did base ‘The Exorcist’ on actual events that took place. He changed the target of the demons attention from a boy to a girl, and then added 85% Hollywood etc but at it’s most basic, it’s inspired by actual events. Maybe he found inspiration for his other works from a factual basis also?
