Yes that is the correct area, was there many times. Larry Kane was not the Zodiac, however I am very sure that the Zodiac looked very much like Kane. The picture I took of the man I got away from in Vallejo/Napa 1968, was a dead ringer for Larry Kane.

VPD told me the man I took the picture of on Aug 10th 1990, looked like Larry Kane from Lake Tahoe.

So I spent 10 yrs of my life investigating Kane. It wasn’t until Kane died and my suspect was still lurking around, that I realized he was not Larry Kane. This man just happened to be the same man who was tormenting Darlene’s sister before I met her in March 1990.
She ID’s the picture I took of him as Kane, that was who she thought was the man who killed her sister. That man is still tormenting her. She called me yesterday to tell me she had to call the police, because someone wrote my name on her front door and drew the Zodiac logo next to it. I have asked her to send me a picture if that.

I am not sure why he calls her asking if I am at her home? She said he called 26 times in two days asking for me. One neighbor of hers told her that she saw a man in a red plaid shirt hanging around her home. The police told her she needs at least one more neighbor to see this same man and then they can do an investigation. She is terrified of this man who looks like Kane!

I travel by this place everyday as I work in South Lake Tahoe. Each time I pass I wonder. Of course this is just down the road, minutes from where He and Donna Lass worked.

I am guessing that you have also been to where Donna lived with the Lowe’s and the apt she moved into . The missing Dr. Hollingsworth was very close to where Donna was living at the time she disappeared. I have often wondered if perhaps the person who took Donna also took Dr. Hollingsworth , to make it look like they ran off together?

Did you go to the 50th reunion at the Horizon a few yrs ago?( Now the Hard Rock) I went there with my friend Ricardo, to talk to anyone who knew Donna and found a few who knew both Donna and Kane.
There are some people who didn’t want to believe that they worked just a couple of doors away from each other. I had to find out for sure if that was true or not and it was true.
Kane was a very good suspect in her case.I can’t think of any other suspect that had connections to San Francisco and moved to Lake Tahoe about the same time as Donna.

That is in Nevada. South Shore-ish, yes, but…not South Lake Tahoe. –I know you know this CF, just to clarify for readers.

Kane at one point actually did live in South Lake Tahoe. In the end, he lived down by Cave Rock…up that hill to the right just before it…in those condos up on the hill.

On a side note, Round Hill has always interested me though. A ROUND in the snow. Peek through the PINES. Pass Lake Tahoe areas.

Kane lived at Zepher Cove. He had about three other addresses before moving to Zepher Cove and then towards Reno where he died. He is buried in the same military cemetery as Darlene’s father. How he was able to be buried there, using a phony name is a hard one to believe. But then many things that he was known to have done is hard to believe.
He probably asked to be buried face down, of you know what I mean?

I believe he is buried in Fernley NV if I’m not mistaken.
