Sounds pretty serious, has this ever happened before with a POI on this site?

We have had potential suspects investigated in the past, we have been asked to remove threads, too. Every investigator has their own requirements and way of doing things.

I’m wondering if it is okay to post the name of "my poi" in the Top Secret forum, even though he is still alive? I’ve been looking at this guy off and on for about a year and been reading up about the case in that time but i cant get much further on my own. I’ve been trying to get some help in various places but havent had much luck. It doesnt seem like the smartest thing to do but im frustrated at this point and dont really know what else to do. I really feel this guy needs to be investigated properly.

Before posting your POI’s name anywhere on the forum, try PMing one of the members at the forum who has a pretty good track record for research and see if they will help you. Take a good look through the topics and threads and I’m sure there will be someone who catches your eye as a good person to ask.

I have been told it was an investigator and a detective but I don’t have names or jurisdictions.

The one question I have about that now offline topic…I kinda remember skimming thru it, but not really. But I’m curious as to when it was created. As I said, I vaguely remember it. Don’t even remember if there were any photos there. But I remember Morf talking about looking for people at addresses near the phone booth.

@morf13 surely, within the last 50 years a retired Detective/police officer or someone within RPD would’ve come forward if potential evidence in a major case like this, was being brushed under the carpet?
