Does any one know where it is possible to look up soldiers names (Vietnam era) that served in units
I have a strong suspect that today has a connection to a rather infamous group and think he might of also back in the late 60’s
Many units have reunion type websites. Have you tried just typing in the unit name and number and see what comes up? If there is a forum for that unit you could post that you are looking for that person or something.

I found a site for the them but they only list deceased members , this crew was a or the top kills chopper pilot in nam according to another site also he may have just been in air cav. or 1st div.

the south Vietnam forces were notorious for cruelty to captured viet cong ,north forces, to try to get them to talk ,usually killing most .
might it be the scary mouth meant more to the enemy than just a graphic . I think the door gunners gattling gun had a white wire circle and crosshairs for a sight.
and I think (SVF) they mostly used our choppers to get around .
