Thanks for your input, Zebra. I’ve got a question for you–and, incidentally, for Zam. Both of you were Vallejans (?) so I’d like to pick your memories and ask if, in the early Sixties, there were many sailors from Mare Island in and about Vallejo?

I always checked out my best friends Father who looked exactly like the drawing and has passed away. He usually worked nights with the railroad and lived in Vallejo. Again look at the drawing and that’s what he looked like glasses and all a bit of a rounder face though but a perfect composite. That’s why I believe I may have been so close to him, because of the people I knew like Jensen, And Leo S. sister. I remember my best friends Father always had a nice car but always drove around in an older model white Ranchero. I know growing up in Rancho del Mar in Vallejo as a boy I went to their house and he was drowing puppies in a bucket of water because they were Mogrols. That sight has stayed with me all my life and I now rescue animals. Regarding Jensen, she was a very sweet and friendly girl and in the 8th grade I asked her if she would like to come to my house for dinner of course my Parents were home but it was only for about an hour. We lived on Oakwood Ave at the time and I didnt even know where she lived. Leo S. sister I believe was Darlene Ferrin and I went to his house a few times this was after the murder and met his parents. Leo was a rather rowdy individual as was I in those days the only difference between us was that he and Leroy M. were both thiefs and would break into homes. I would stay out of that part of there lives. Any questons about any of this please ask!

Rancho Del Mar area in Vallejo was one of the areas that a profiler spoke of, where he felt the Z could of been from. He spoke of The Rancho area of Vallejo. Pretty interesting.
@Zebra, could you tell us more about, Rancho Del Mar!?

Rancho Vallejo is the area that Dr. Kim Rossmo spoke of as area he felt Zodiac could have lived. We discussed it in this thread-

Rancho Vallejo is in Solano County and Mini Dr. goes through the middle of the subdivision. It is west of Highway 29/Sonoma Blvd.

Rancho Del Mar is in Napa County. Back then it was in the county but now it’s within the American Canyon city limits. It on the very south end of Napa County, also west of Highway 29. One would drive through the Rancho Del Mar subdivision to get to the Napa County Dump which is no longer there or just a transfer station now.

Thanks Seagull, for adding the link & the info about Dr. Kim Rossmo, I planned on doing that when I had time to find it. I recall the first time I read Dr. Kim Rossmo’s, Profile of the Zodiac, I felt like he was zeroing in, more so then anyone else.
And Zebra, I’m familiar with the area, but was hoping you could tell me more about the area in the late 60’s, early 70’s as all areas had their own energy. I tracked down a map of the area & will post it tomorrow.
