I can answer your second question. Yes, there was an unconfirmed letter sent in 1987. It is pictured on the first page of this thread-

I have never seen a transcript of that interview, but that’s not to say one does not exist.

As for the transcription, is it possibly recorded (and available) otherwise?
Does it matter all that much about seeing Allen’s transcript now that the DNA, Latent Print, handwriting and a partridge in a pair tree all being negative?
I think the only thing I know or have heard in relation to Allen (Arthur Lee, the poster boy for male genetic baldness who has a crew cut when he warps into Zodiac) is that of what the Detective that interviewed him said and that is, to paraphrase "He’d answer one of your interrogation questions, then he’d want to spend 20 minutes telling you how to make cottage pie in the oven perfectly."

As far as I know none of Toschi’s files have been leaked.
His interview with Vallejo should be available. And wasn’t Toschi there at the time too?

I was just curious what ALA said. There was some dialogue in the Zodiac movie during the interview that I thought was interesting, and wasn’t sure if it was made up for the movie or based on actual transcripts. I assume the former…
