Drawback is History channel makes you binge watch 4 episodes of The Curse of Oak Island before you can watch The Hunt for the Zodiac Killer Ep 1.

I know ugghhhh

I don’t know Chief, he’s very smart or very dumb.

This will air in 5 parts starting 11/14/17

I think this will be good and will include some surprises. Maybe some additions to the same old stuff and suspects mentioned on several other tv productions. I am proud to have had a consulting role in this, and I know that there are a few other people on this site that also had a part in this production. If they want to come forward, they can, or if they prefer to stay behind the scenes, totally up to them.

Hope everybody watches it and that it turns out good.

Hi Morf, I loved the first episode and I’m quite encouraged by it. Are you aware of what the remaining four episodes will bring to the investigation? I’m still confused but hoping I’ll find some clarity as this unravels. Good job and thank you.

Thanks Karenlee. I have some ideas. Definitely Donna Lass possible victim, more code work. I think Doranchak may be able to add more.

The funny thing about the History Channel link to watch it, is that you have to use your cable provider. If you have cable, you don’t need the link. Guess it’s for a cell phone or tablet? Maybe some people have cable, but don’t get the History Channel and this will allow that? I don’t know… Either way, it doesn’t work for me. I don’t have cable or satellite.

…they may be dealing with one or more ersatz Zodiacs–other psychotics eager to get into the act, or perhaps even other murderers eager to lay their crimes at the real Zodiac’s doorstep. L.A. Times, 1969

Na I think you have to have a TV provider that you get the channel through. If your provider or your subscription doesn’t have the History channel then your SOL. That said surprised the Ep isn’t on YouTube yet or somewhere for free.

Would be cool if one of the coming EP’s talks about Donna Lass . I personally don’t think she is a Zodiac victim but we never hear enough about that case. What I remember from reading years back is the security guard was one of the last to see her. He Acted strange when questioned and think he took the day off after she went missing.

They go to Tahoe and do a big segment on Donna.

Can’t say I’m a huge fan of these kinds of shows. They are a bit overdramatic with their snapshots of certain moments. Like the cell phone call to the codebreakers "HEY GUYS ROSS SULLIVAN DID WORK AT THE RIVERSIDE LIBRARY!". Uh, no crap, eh? I understand it’s for a casual audience but that stuff bothers me. There’s no reason not to state up front when they began investigating Sullivan that yes, he was a Riverside College library worker, it’s one reason why he was pointed out as a POI.

Lol agreed and just scripted reality TV. Like Brad Meltzer’s Decoded show, hey lets take a raft ride down the river looking for Bohemian Groove. Oh my look it’s Alex Jones standing on the bank of the river for no reason. Lets get him to help us and if anyone knows how to sneak into Bohemian Groove he does.

I was able to purchase the episode on youtube for $1.99
