All that was posted here, was when it was happening or even before most news articles. It was pretty intense watching it unfold last nite on TV. But some of us were also listening to the scanner & there were other avenues of information. Also some of the newspaper articles messed up the story. AK was right on top of trying to figure it out & that was great!

Two incorrect suspect names were read by police as if from ID. SPECULATION ONLY: One of the names stated does have a similarity to white hat suspect. Could his ID have been stolen? Or did police just have bad information?

Apparently new media ran with the info coming from the scanner.

The rest of what I posted is accurate, I heard Boston Police call in the reports of explosives and automatic gunfire. Everything I posted was as it happens.

Its confusing because as I understand it most Chechen Muslims hate Russia. That is who they have been fighting. These guys seemed to have a great life here in America. What caused the hatred in them to want to randomly kill Americans like an 8 year old boy, two young women and a police officer. What was the motive? What happened to make these guys do this act of horror?

We should have a phone number call list. AK, Trav, Drew & Myself were up late, watching all this take place. And AK was great sharing a lot of his information with us.

I wasn’t I fell asleep before it all kicked off. Woke up about 5am Boston TIme, read the posts then listened to the scanner link AK posted for a while.

I deleted the names. Major media reported them. I wonder if the suspects had ID in those names? The names were read over the police channels. Or could have been bad info police had, it was a fast moving situation.

I think naked guy was just a passer by stopped by police. They thought he was a suspect and had him remove his clothes. Apparently the captured now dead suspect had explosives and a trigger on his body.

Wow…I mean, I understand their concern, but to strip an innocent man naked and parade him through the streets? Will be interesting to see how that unfolds.

Now to make this right, they need to find Sunil Tripathi & bring him back home. He was falsely accused.

2033: A law enforcement official has told AP that the suspect is in a boat "stored in a Massachusetts neighbourhood". He did not know if Dzhokhar Tsarnaev was dead or alive.

2047: THEY GOT HIM!!

2052: Dzhokhar Tsarnaev was taken away to applause from people near the scene in Watertown – AFP.

2055: "He was captured after gunfire, but his condition is not known. He appears to be alive" Boston Globe tweet.

2058: That Boston police department tweet on the capture has been retweeted at least 65,000 times.

2059: "We got him," Boston mayor Tom Menino tweets.

2101: You can feel the elation in the Boston police department’s tweeting: "CAPTURED!!! The hunt is over. The search is done. The terror is over. And justice has won. Suspect in custody."

2115: CBS News is reporting that the homeowner at the address on Franklin Street went outside for the first time shortly after the police lifted the lockdown.
The homeowner is reported to have noted a tear in the cover to the boat in the backyard. He went to look more closely and saw what CBS says he described in the subsequent 911 call as "a bloody mess in there"…

2116: …CBS News say that three police officers went to investigate. When they looked inside they also saw blood and someone moving.
They retreated after a shot was reportedly fired from inside and then alerted the FBI who brought in the tactical unit.

That’s great that they got him, and alive! Hopefully he will talk. Some unanswered questions about where these guys got weapons and explosives, were they trained, what did the older brother do in Russia for six months last year, who funded him, what did Russian intelligence know, do they have ties to terrorist groups, did they have accomplices, what was their motive? He may or may not ever talk. He reportedly has "significant blood loss" and may have been bleeding for almost 24 hours, and was also injured by a flash bang grenade. He may not live.

I see some family members and others are saying he is innocent, it was all a set up, etc. Everyone is innocent until proven guilty, and he will have all his constitutional rights respected, as it should be. But this following photo sequence is pretty damning.

KEY SEQUENCE:

Amazing and chilling image apparently showing white hat suspect holding backpack low and dropping it on ground, near the boy victim Martin Richard. The suspect appears to be smiling. He picked this location.

This is white hat suspect seemingly very casually leaving bombing scene after the blast. In red box. Man thought to be other suspect in yellow box, but that now is unclear.

And a close up. He no longer has his backpack. In a portion of the video not released the FBI says he drops it at the bomb site.
