Yeah apparently after 35 years some French detective decided that maybe the police badge he was seen flashing probably wasn’t a fake one after all. That maybe the cuffs meant something more and possibly the high degree of forensic awareness might have been a clue all along.

Who’d have thought that right? Everyone is just seeing cops in serial killers that remained illusive like that because DeAngelo was caught.

It was really just a fall of bed guess they got it right. Left it to some newly green detective in the basement to realize that only 700 people fit that description at the time and place and could make a feasible DNA dragnet. Such luck eh? 

Let’s just forget about this anomaly and go find the Zodiac in whatever three-eyed monster with a criminal history we can dig up, yeah? As long as they have something we can despise without the Zodiac stuff attached, we must be on the right track.
