Saw this story yesterday, its actually old news, from last year I think. He was a guy that voluntarily vanished. Wonder why it’s being reported as fresh?

Kinda makes you wonder how these victims were identified and the closing of missing person cases.

Very scary, just imagining the people that could have been getting away with so much because of these kinds of errors. I was watching a documentary on Henry Lucas and Otis Toole the other day and it is suspected that police attributed many homicides to them without any real proof – I know mistakes will happen even in important jobs but there’s something particularly worrying about the potential killers that are going unnoticed let alone caught.
