I think Toschi is on permanent vacation now. Retired, in his 90s. I think the last article I saw about him he was somewhere in Europe. I actually hope he doesn’t think of it at all anymore. The man deserves some peace. US- on the other hand- we gotta keep that torch lit.

A San Fransisco paper had an article about him in 2010? that said every year since he has stopped at the Wash. & cherry intersection on Oct.11 ,I will try and find it again, and a very recent photo of him was posted on this site too. It looks like his wife drives him now .
Drove by last night around 10pm. A group of about 7 people were standing at Wash&Cherry. Must have been the Tom V thing.

My wife works down the hill at c.p.m.c. Medical center from Washington and Cherry. I’m sure at times such as anniversaries etc. more people stop by to look but in general it is a pretty quiet place. I take a walk up that way sometimes and it looks just like a regular upscale neighborhood.
