I thought I would post this here:
Search results for “around in the snow” in books released in the 20th century. Can’t narrow the dates in the search filter but the dates are listed each time:
https://www.google.com/search?q=%22arou … dpr=3#ip=1Some interesting results and not many results to go through.
Zodiac liked to play with words and some I believe have double meanings. Around in the snow, could also mean" A round hole in the snow"? The place I found at Claire Tappin Lodge, in Soda Springs, had a deep hole with a wooden plank for a cover, there is "water" in that hole! That was also the area where Dave Peterson and Harvy Hines looked for Donna’s body and found nurses’ glasses. I think that card had more than one clue, one for where her body could be found and the other clue was that he was a construction worker at Incline Village.
I’ve been exploring these sketches for a few days and might have found something interesting. Comparing the two, I also see a couple of tiny areas where the author has made changes to the original (added symbols and possibly parts of a face). I can’t quite make it out due to the poor image quality though. Does anyone know if there are better scans of this card out there? Maybe the original card still exists?
