I saw on Reddit and they say bad things about you and Tom. They are beginners at this case and do not have the knowledge and understanding to solve the murders. You and Tom tour the sites of the murders and are both experts on the Zodiac case. I read a little on reddit and understood quite quickly that the posters there were dullards.
Thank you CharlesR, Tom and I take this case seriously, it’s not for entertainment or just something to do in our spare time. We want to do whatever we can to help solve it and keep the case alive until it is solved. It is for all of the victims and their families to give them some closure.
My involvement is on a more personal level, because I was working in Vallejo and living in Napa at the time the crimes took place. Being a waitress at one of the most popular night clubs in Vallejo (The Coronado Inn) , I somehow drew the attention of a scary stalker who I believe is Zodiac.
Being able to tell what I know about him is healing for me, it’s a way for me to vent. I thank Tom, Morf , Ophion1031, Richard Grinell and Ricardo for allowing me to tell my story on their sites. Having my story out there along with all of the police reports I have made over the years ,I believe has literally saved my life! I have to ignore the trolls who know nothing.
Now lets get back to the topic Gaikowski in Ireland?
Update — Tom announced today that someone is pretending to be Bryan Hartnell and doing fake interviews via email, so disregard the comments regarding a voice match to Gaikowski.

Hard to disagree. Weirdly there are so many ALA believers on reddit.
Let’s pretend it’s Gaikowski in the photo. It was taken two weeks after Lake Herman. Unless he walked to Ireland, it would have taken the better part of a day to get there, not a couple of weeks.

I am an ALA person and from my experience, Reddit is very anti-ALA. Lots of people favor other suspects there.

What was Gaikowki’s interest in Ireland? Why did he go there?
According to Gaikowski he got fed up with mainstream journalism and quit his job in Albany, NY, before eventually taking a trip to see Europe.

One thing about Gaikowski and Ireland ….. the last 18 unused letters of the 408 can be arranged to something like Robeet Emet The Hipie. There’s a statue of an Irish nationalist named Robert Emmet in Golden Gate Park. Or so Google tells me.
Oddly enough I posted about the last 18 of the 408 being the name of Zodiac, this morning on Zodiackiller.com. I never gave any thought to it relating to Gaikowski ?
I was given the answer to that cipher by my POI in my mailbox yrs ago. It was printed on the back of a Green Patricks flooring card. St Patricks day is Darlene’s birthday, he thinks I knew her. Many clues that he leaves for me pertain to Darlene.
The Harden’s were very close to solving the last 18 symbols themselves. They had "Robert Emmet the hippie". The mistake they made and others have done the same , is they said they added a missing R M P. The true experts never add letters to get what they want in a cipher! There was no need to add the R , because it was already there.
The answer I was given was :" It me thee Hipi Robeet" Below that answer the POI gave me more. He wrote 5 e’s the fifth letter, 3 i’s the ninth letter. There are 5 e’s and 3 i’s in his answer. So he was giving more, but I am still not sure what he meant? I added 5+3= 8 ( he used 3 8’s on the my name cipher) 8 being the 8th letter in the alphabet is H . Was he giving me a clue to his last name starting with a H? I do have one suspect I am looking at who’s name is Robert Hernandez, there are 9 letters in that last name.

IIRC his mother was Irish.
He went there to write a story about the riots and was in the people’s Democracy march starting from Belfast to Derry on Jan 1 1969. He interviewed two men and gave their names in one article. I found one of those men and questioned him about who interviewed him? He said he didn’t remember the reporter’s name, but he was an American reporter. I am guessing he arrived sometime in Dec 1968 to get settled in before the start of that march? There is a lot of controversy about when and if he was actually there? I think the picture on the first page of this thread looks a lot like him! The wavey hair, the shape of the nose and face is a match to other pictures I have seen of him.
