Is there any actual proof Ross and CJB knew each other. The only thing I recall is that they might have both went to his brother’s wedding.
none that I know of, We know Cheri Jo traveled to San Francisco about 1 to 2 weeks before she was murdered and that is
about the time of Tim and Bonnie’s wedding in S.F.

Whatever happened to Hamsammich or whatever his name was? He had supposedly found something in a yearbook that was going to #BLOWTHLIDOFF, then he ghosted. I can’t remember if that was here or Tom’s.
I remember Hamsandwich too … He had some writing samples that (when turned sideways) matched the "signature" at the bottom of the Bates Had to Die letters. Is that they guy that you are thinking of?

Zodiac was a screwup. He left behind five breathing victims, two survivors, bootprints, possibly fingerprints and palmprints, tiretracks, eyewitnesses, and earwitnesses. If the APB had gone out for a WMA he would have been locked up in ’69.

The more and more I research the zodiac killer I’m starting to believe that while Ross is my prime suspect for Cheri’s murder I don’t believe he is the Zodiac I think his mental state of mind and the lack of concrete proof we can put him in san Fransisco bar looking at the census (which I don’t think is available?) I do however think maybe he knew the zodiac or the zodiac killer could have sort him out maybe
Despite the confession letter is ther any other proof that Cheri’s killer and the zodiac are the same?
I am always curious why people always think Ross could be Cheri’s killer but not Zodiac. I think it’s the other way around. Assuming his alibi is good, he didn’t kill Cheri, and I also think Zodiac didn’t kill her. But if we go by the evidence and the experts, Zodiac was somebody in the RCC library who looked just like Ross.

Like I’ve said, my "POI"’s fiancee was a Riverside Library assistant. This would have provided him with opportunities to doodle his "poem" while no one was looking.
RS killed CJB and was the Zodiac, I believe. Details abound that point to him.

RS could easily have committed that as he was seen daily sitting on the wall outside the library talking to girls and then suddenly disappeared for a couple of weeks after murder having shed his usual military-style wardrobe.

how can cheri bates not be of zodiac murde? Z like alphabet found on the letters+handwriting confirmed by sherwood to be Zodiac’s + zodiac said stumbling on riverside activity + desktop poem.. then why is she not CONSIDERED zodiac murder??
