How is it helping the cops if she isn’t describing him properly though? She wanted the guy caught. That is why she paid so much attention to detail, not only with looks, but his car–which had young kids clothing in it. Ross??
I think if anything, it shows how the composite looked like so many people. It looked enough like KJ’s guy for her to say it was him (and later Kane), so the composite = crap, imo. A guy with short hair and glasses…pick your POI.

If they even hinted that her description could be wrong, she could be willing to convince herself details were wrong. Also, kids clothes could’ve been in the car as a ruse. I would be shocked if Zodiac was married and/or a parent (Ross or not).
Putting this here because do not see pictures-only thread. 40 Bedford Street Manhattan, last reported residence of Harold Sullivan (father), sold in 1968 by an Italian couple (after Sullivan death). Landmark building, cannot be changed structurally outside, with strict limits inside is listed as two family in NYC dept of buildings, at time Sullivan purportedly lived there. At 3 family an owner must file certain occupany records, at 6 family those must include names of tenants.
Building is located in West Greenwich Village.

It might be good to clear up what schools he was involved with.
He actually attended different schools and taught at some. I think he taught at Princeton, went to Yale.
He was very well educated as was Ross’ mom who went to Smith College and came from a prominent Maine family. That’s why it’s so strange that the family was so poor.

My uncle was a cop, he used to tell me that he’d seen so many witness statements torn apart in court because people that go thru a traumatic situation mostly never give an attacker description thats 100% correct because their minds are all over the place during a life or death situation they are more focused on not dying than they are on getting a full description of the person attacking them so their descriptions aren’t always 100%

There it lists he received his Undergrad from Yale Divinity, Masters from Harvard, and a Doctorate from Princeton (these could likely be confirmed by either yearbooks, or the schools should confirm who they gave degrees to). He was certainly all over the Ivy League, hardly a poor man’s selection for education.
Of course most interesting to me is in article about his hiring at Binghamton where it mentions him working for the State Department after WW2 as director of the "Youth for Understanding" program- has anyone ever looked into that? I also don’t know if we have an exact timeline of where Harold lived when, did he do his schooling all at once, or as he took jobs in different locations?
And while perhaps unimportant, but just to create nice bookends on Harold’s life, his death certificate should now be able to be released by NYS- 50 years after death NY should release an unofficial copy. Since he died in Binghamton, I can try the County Clerk next time I am down there, if not there is an online form for NYS which I can submit. I doubt it will give much info into Ross, but just seems worth having- like maybe who signed for the body if nothing else.

He also worked at a place called Statistical Tabulating Corporation for 8 years which I can’t find much information on concerning what they did in New York State. I’m interested in that. His work history is confusing.
Ross’s dad bounced around A LOT. Not only with religious education, which strikes me as unusual, but also odd that he appeared successful in New York and then moved completely to the other side of the country. Morf wrote way back that the family shared when he talked to them that there was a major issue with Harold that Morf wouldn’t post online. That leads me to questions about whether this was connected to him bouncing around.
It’s interesting to me that Ross likely went into a mental institution not terribly long after his mother died and Lake Herman happened 3 and a half months after his father, whom he was estranged from, died.
