doranchak & Seagull….
Did you find anything on Alfred H Jette and how he may or may not be related to Noel and her family ?
No Monarch, I did not. It looks like A Norman Jette was an only child. He was born in Montana Aug. 18 1905.
I cannot find Alfred H Jette on a census. I cannot find a death record for him either but he does have a Find A Grave page, he died in 1985. I found a birthdate of Sept. 11, 1908 for him and he was born in New Hampshire according to his WWII enlistment record.
His Find a Grave page.

His headstone says "Beloved Husband", no mention of being a father which is usually the case.
**** Wait I did find a death record under the name Alfred Hector Jette.
Here’s a reference to his birth certificate which lists his father as Joseph Jette and mother as Autoro Desharnais:

There is another Arthur Jette from New Hampshire with a connection to California, who also married a Desharnais (Anna Julia Desharnais).
http://person.ancestry.com/tree/4966126 … 1404/facts
Arthur Alexander Jette was born on March 29, 1894, in Lebanon, New Hampshire. He died on January 1, 1971, in Hayward, California, at the age of 76.
The death record of one of their daughters:
https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:FLTW-SP5
It lists Joseph Jette’s wife’s name as "Marie Aurore Desharnais" (I think "Autoro" on his birth certificate record was mis-transcribed).
Found their marriage record:
Name: Aurore Desharnais
Birth Year: abt 1868
Birth Place: Canada
Father: Elizer Deshagonais
Mother: Philomene Lemaye
Spouse: Joseph Jatte
Spouse Birth Place: Canada
Record Type: Marriage
Marriage Date: 13 Feb 1893
Marriage Place: Lebanon, New Hampshire, USA
Age at Marriage: 25
Spouse Age at Marriage: 20
Spouse Father: Alexie Jette
Spouse Mother: Margarete Roewert
Year Range: Pre-1901

Yes, thank you.
I finally received copies of Ross Sullivan’s Selective Service records from the National Archives. Unfortunately, there is not much that is new. His registration card records him as: eyes “blue,” hair “blonde,” complexion “fair,” height 6’2’’, weight 260, and having a “scar on left upper arm.” It states that he is a student at Glendale College and living with his father at the E. Harvard address. Ross registered, per the law, at age 18.
Ross Sullivan is on line 19 of the Classification History (SSS Form 102) I received. It lists him as “available for military service” (1-A) and “registrant qualified for service only in time of war or national emergency” (1-Y). It states that his physical examination records were destroyed on November 20, 1970. The result of his exam was “rej.” I believe this is an abbreviation for “rejected” but I have not yet been able to confirm this. I also do not know what the remarks mean (“yx – p??”). I think I will call the archive and ask about these codes.
I will also compile a better reproduction of the relevant parts of the records I received. Please let me know if you want a copy of the full records (the entire page on which Ross is line 19). I can email it.
Thank you Eric! Patience paid off.
If you could post the entire back of the registration card, that would be great.

He would have registered just after his mother had died.
