Great idea to make a video to gather additional info on Ross Sullivan.

But i have som thoughts:

1. I think it is wrong to claim that Zodiac "relocated" from Riverside area to northern California after the CJB murder. Zodiac could have bizz connections and/or family in the Riverside area and therefore visited at the time of the murder/mailing letters, but lived in the Bay area also in 1966/67.

2. Same thing with claiming that the fact that Ross Sullivan was working/connected to the Library where CJB was murdered support/point to Ross Sullivan as a great Zodiac suspect. I mean why would Zodiac choose to commit a murder THAT "close to home"? As far as we know Zodiac didn’t choose crime scenes "close to home" but rather deserted locations, except for the Paul Stine which was a residential area.

Foreigner, these are all dots that need to be connected. What we have is what the Librarian, Joann told us. They were freaked out by Ross. He scared them. He wrote a morbid poem. He was a fixture in that library. He did know Cheri Bates. He wrote in various writing styles. In mid 67, he transferred to the SF Bay area. Joann stated that Ross suddenly went absent from RCC for a couple weeks after Cheri’s murder, and when he reappeared, he was wearing all new clothes.

Now, we compare these facts to Zodiac.

Morrill matched the Bates desk & letters to Zodiac. If he is right,and I think he is, Zodiac HAD TO BE in the RCC Library in 66, and in Riverside in multiple dates in 67 to mail letters. Then, he is up in SF Bay area in time for his 1st murder, 12/20/68. Later,he is witnessed and a sketch is made of him.

Ross Sullivan matches that sketch very closely, the closest I have ever seen. Ross Sullivan was in that RCC Library, where Sherwood Morrill places Zodiac. Ross Sullivan was in Riverside 66-67, then went up to SF Bay area, in time for the murders.

More matches than does not match.

Also, I personally believe its unlikely that Zodiac was visiting Riverside. He was in the library to make the poem, that indicates a student/volunteer/worker of some sort. He was there to send the 4/30/67 letters, and possibly the Confession letter. That also indicates somebody that is tied to that area. I am on the fence about Cheri actually being killed by Zodiac, but since he and Cheri bates knew each other, I could see her reluctantly going down the alley with him.

Again, we have some holes with Ross, no doubt. Where exactly was he from 68-74?? Did he own or shoot guns? We don’t know some of these details, but bottom line is, he looked identical to the Zodiac sketch, and he was in the RCC library, the only Suspect proven to be in that library. Maybe we will get somebody to come forward and give us more info and we can rule him out somehow.

I love Sullivan as a suspect BECAUSE he matches up to the Riverside connection. I don’t have any problem whatsoever believing that Z would kill close to home, a lot of killers prey in places they know.

The Zodiac case has been victim to so much sensationalism that the reality of the situation seems almost impossible to believe at this point (the reality being – IMO – that Z WAS in fact someone like Sullivan as opposed to some of the more grandiose theories).

I REALLY hope Morf’s efforts bring some information to light.
