Every time I visit the site, it shows my last visit as having been on Sun Jan 26, 2014 8:07 pm. Because of this, I assume, nearly everything on the site shows as having new posts. Makes it really hard to figure out where the real new ones are.
I assure you I’ve been here many times since then. I’ve even made a few posts since then.

It seems to only happen on the main page. If I go to the individual sections, they show correctly.

do you have cookies blocked in your browser?
do you have another browser you can use (firefox, chrome, internet explorer)?
can you delete your temp files (ctrl-shift-del in your browser) and try again?

Interesting Bargle. I could see how that would be frustrating. Maybe Trav can take a closer look–he has different access abilities, but I’ll give him a heads-up just in case he misses this thread.

masootz has some good suggestions, just in case it isn’t on this end.

Sounds like a glitch.

That’s my official diagnosis  Ummm Dunno is the short answer. What I can do is force re-activate your account and see if that clears it. It will deactivate your account and you will receive an email to click to re-activate it. I don’t know if it will clear all the unread posts but hopefully it will sort out the ‘last visit’ issue. Guess we’ll just have to see.

Let me know if you want to proceed.

It ‘s happening on 2 different computers using Chrome, Firefox and IE, so it’s not just my home computer or browser.

Yeah, give a reset a shot.
