Odd question, but I have been looking at pictures of TK in relation to the Z murders and I was under the impression TK was arrested at his cabin which was this one:

Yet the pictures of his arrest that say he was captured at his cabin show this:

Clearly his actual cabin he built has vertically placed boards and the one he is shown coming out of while cuffed has horizontally placed "logs" like a traditional log cabin.

So, was there more than one cabin on his property? And if so, why no pics of the one he was actually arrested in?

Here’s an interior shot of the mysterious log cabin (see attachment). This looks nothing like the inside of Ted’s cabin (see Youtube clip).

I’ll hazard a guess: the FBI doctored the pictures because they didn’t want the public to see Ted’s cabin at that point in time. The one where they’re emerging from the door is just…odd. I mean, it doesn’t even look like the same location…and the sheriff feller has a really unnatural shadow around his arm, more like an outline.

Edit: Oh, and a screen door…in Montana…in April…with a half-foot gap on the bottom.

Here’s another pic from that day, this time you can clearly see Ted’s cabin, not the bizarro stand-in.

Maybe just another cabin in the area they held him in…

^ This.

http://www.cnn.com/US/9604/03/unabomber/

LINCOLN, Montana (CNN) — The FBI’s 18-year search for the elusive Unabomber led them to a mountain cabin Wednesday, where they caught a former Berkeley professor turned in by his family as a possible suspect in the mail bomb killings.

The suspect was taken into custody when he resisted an effort to search his home in Lincoln, according to law enforcement sources and a saw mill owner whose property the FBI used as a staging area for the raid.

The suspect was identified as Theodore (Ted) Kaczynski by his neighbor at the saw mill, Clifford Gehring.

A law enforcement source in Washington told CNN Kaczynski is the person whose residence was raided outside Lincoln, Montana, on Wednesday. A Justice Department official said he was taken into custody so that he wouldn’t interfere with the search of his cabin.

Kaczynski was in an undisclosed location most of the day, but late Wednesday night, he was taken to FBI offices in downtown Helena. It wasn’t immediately known if he would be held overnight on charges.

Of course, most sources simply state that "Ted was arrested at his cabin for being the Unabomber." :x

These pictures were probably taken when Ted was escorted from the "sawmill owner’s property" to the FBI office…and low res/high contrast probably accounts for the "cutout of 3 guys pasted onto a postcard" effect.
