Sorry, I got used to seeing the newpaper clipping and started scrolling past it, I must have missed the additional information. Thanks for digging it out.

With this crucial piece in place, I have to say, this is seriously compelling stuff. The totality of evidence must be on par with Cheri Jo Bates and vastly superior to most other unconfirmed Zodiac killings. I don’t understand why this isn’t discussed right behind the Bates case, it’s inconsistent to accept most of these other cases ahead of this one. This has to be number 2 after Bates in terms of circumstantial evidence.

I wonder how many people had the same understanding as I did? That additional piece of information is so crucial to a proper understanding.

If we accept the newspapers report as accurate, which would seem like a reasonable thing to do, then that means we have almost the same amount of evidence that Zodius killed the Robinsons as we do that Zodiac attacked his first 4 verified victims. I say "almost", because we don’t have the Zodius letter to check.

Who cares about MO, that’s speculation at best. We have two killers, one called Zodiac, on called Zodius, what more do people want? And in addition we have a report that a mysterious stranger, as yet unidentified with a robotic voice made phone calls and acted suspiciously in days leading up to the killing.

I’m calling this, this absolutely on par with the Bates case and far ahead of anything like the Domingos Edwards case. Why are we even talking about Ray Davis when we have this? It’s not even in the same league. This case is the one that should be mentioned alongside the Bates case as the top most likely unverified Zodiac case. Who cares about distance, MO, none of that matters when compared to the killer using virtually the same moniker. It’s one letter of the alphabet away from being a verified case. I’m not saying I think it’s Z, but if we’re going to talk enthusiastically about Ray Davis, then this has got to be higher on the list.

If anyone thinks this case has remote odds of being Zodiac, I’d love to know why, because it seems to have very high odds of being Zodius.

Sandy Panzarella has one heck of a robotic-sounding voice. https://youtu.be/uY_tqjdnDVk?t=197

That’s your idea of a monotone? Dude sound Italian… I mean, what r you hearing? I find his voice quite expressive in a way that kind of draws you in, like an old man about to tell an interesting story, he’s actually quite a good speaker, stumble and mumbles a bit, but there’s an odd strength to way he puts a final emphasis on things, you know kinda like an expressive Italian person…

To me robotic denotes a voice that is genuinely without proper flow, not just a few stumbles, stumbles sound quite human. To me monotonal means monotonal, not just low. A robotic voice aught to be quite precise, but subtly off. Panzarella’s voice is quite human and sort of frail.

When Nancy Slover did the impersonation it sounded like what I always imagined in my head.
