So I take it that they are keen on the idea of Cooper having survived, so all the suspects are guys that are still alive and not from a pool of guys who were given reason to suspect because of their actions prior to the hijacking? If that’s the case, I don’t put a lot of faith in it.

Yea if you put a gun to my head and said chose, I would go with McCoy myself although his alibi seems kinda solid.

He did the exact crime and did successfully and look like a dead ringer also special forces and died in a shoot out.

Yep agree with all your points you made and think he is him. Watched a documentary on McCoy a few years back called the real DB Cooper. In my opinion most likely him. That said still keep a open mind for other suspects.
