Entitled ‘Sylvia’ this was a two-parter first aired in 1981. I watched it the other day thinking, ‘Little House’ usual 19th Century family drama..but this was very dark and strange.
The protagonist gets raped by a man wearing a clown/mime mask..almost all the adults and children (including her father) believe her to be a whore, she becomes pregnant, is almost attacked again, then dies after falling off a ladder.

Yet another reason to hate ladders.
A few minutes ago on a toilet not very far, far away….
There’s an old Brooke Shields movie called Alice Sweet Alice. Man, that movie creeped me out, and when I saw your post and the pic, it immediately made me think of that movie.

If you think that’s spooky, which it is, check out the movie, Day of the Nightmare 1965. It’s is a very creepy, scary movie, set in California. It’s about a psycho killer who shoots and stabs his victim with a foot long knife. Very dark and spooky.
I’ll check those out, thanks. Little House was filmed in California and I can’t help thinking that Michael Landon was influenced by the slasher movies of the time.
