Figured we could start dumping pics of our Halloween decorations for this year.
So I started with an idea to get a new blacklight lamp to light my Trace Elliot. The thing is vintage but still works and making it ‘glow’ kinda helps make it feel modern. Of course it was halloween so to use an almost inappropriate analogy, it snowballed from there. Disco lights, blacklight LED PARS, RGB LED PARS, RGB LED uplighters and more.
So here’s the amp all ‘Halloween’d" up.
The Les Paul project wasn’t spared either.
Nor the TV with an improvised 10w led rgb uplighter and a prism from a broken disco bulb. Showing just R,G and B here but you can mix 16 colours and make it fade and strobe and stuff.
So you’d think that would be enough but NOOOOOOOO. I wan’t more stuff that glows under blacklight. I thought this would look good. Kinda wanted a slightly retro vibe off it befitting blacklight posters.
I was going to print it myself but then with a local print shop offering to print it A1 on fluorescent paper why bother and with the assistance of some poster hangers for a few quid off ebay. TA DAH!.
And no, my place isn’t on fire because I also bought a smoke machine with orange LEDs for a flame effect. If I do anything else mental I’ll try an photograph it.
A family pic, Tahoe? Grandma and Grandpa Tahoe and all the other Tahoe’s??? Hee, Hee, Hee!
I love this pic!!
Good stuff Trav & Tahoe!

I’m trick-or-treating at trav’s house next year! This Halloween definitely beat last year when I spent my second favorite holiday without power for four days after Hurricane Sandy. I spent Halloween in an Econo Lodge and thought I had lost my cat forever under a hotel bed. Much better indeed…
Nice desk pictures and poster design traveller1st!
