The easiest way is to use your snipping tool, provided you have Windows.

If you have a different version just Google to find the tool for the version you have.

What I do – and find easiest – (assuming Windows)

1. With whatever you want to capture on-screen – hit the "Print Screen" button on your keyboard.

2. Open MS Paint and type Ctrl-V (for "paste")

That’s all. I believe this works on every version of Windows ever.
