Received this from an OLD Friend. They said it’s from 1945, I guess you can tell by the cars. I wasn’t around then…LOL* ….but the Z could of been.
Notice how back then California was abbreviated as Calif.

I don’t know when the name changed. We always knew it as Blue Rock Springs. It was a resort in the late 1800’s. Springs Road used to be named White Sulfur Springs Road because it was the wagon road to the park. This picture is from 1904 and shows the hotel out there. If I recall, the lake out there was fed by the spring and it was a sulfur spring. I have seen pictures of people bathing in it. The spring stopped flowing when they dynamited the quicksilver mines.<- This is a quote from a friend of mine. 1928
Back in the Old Days before it was called Blue Rocks Springs.
White Sulfur Springs. See the man sitting by what appears
to be a small pool of water. This is in the Olden Days before
it changed to Blue Rocks Springs.

1035 Maine Street, Vallejo. Very close to the police dept at 111 Amador Street.
Five of us Z researchers went there after a day at the Vallejo Library. After
looking at Microfiche and old Phone books…your eyes get tired. Might as
well go to an old Vallejo Establishment where some police are known to hang
out once in awhile and try to get a Z story and have a couple cocktails
FUN*
