I saw the whole season and I kind of thought it sucked.
Although HBO has made some great original shows, The Sopranos, Deadwood, Boardwalk Empire, Game of Thrones, etc., etc.. This "True Detective" show just didn’t work for me.
I mean, it started out well, the acting and filming and writing were all great. But the plot sucked, IMO. If the story doesn’t pull me in – and it didn’t – none of the rest really matters.
