I was told by Sonoma County LE that DNA was recovered and sent to be entered into the databases about three years ago. I do know that sometimes it can take a couple of years for that to happen once it is sent in. I have never been told the results or even if there were any results.

I wonder why RSPD dosen’t run the dna found on Bates (UNDER HER NAILS) againts the semen recover from Kim Wendy Allen body. All they have to do is run it throught the database

Seagull, I heard on the news yesterday, Sonoma Co. can now get DNA results with in weeks !

Maybe they can get DNA results from an individual, a prisoner for instance, within weeks but there is still the process of entering that DNA result into first the Western States database and if there is no hit then into the National database. That is what takes the time because both of those agencies are backlogged.
