Does any one find it odd… that the cards that were sent to S.F.C.
news paper were cartooish in nature. What I’m saying is odd,spooky even. It wasn’t
a coincidence, not in my opinion. Those cards, were ment to reach out to The Cartooist.
To draw him into the cases. Now…The Cartooist has vanished once more into his darkened room.
He felt the back of his head for the thousandth time. With a shuddering horror, then with
believe, then with a dreadful relief. But, The Cartooist would remember, and be haunted
forever. He utters a groan. Wide-Awake staring out the window, on the 18th flood on
Nob Hill.

Since you mention it, yes, Z did seem to have a thing for cartoony cards. Do you think Z was Cartoonist-aware when he started sending the cards?
