I was recently told that a second letter sent to me in Napa 1969, has been authenticated by the nation’s top handwriting expert as being sent by Zodiac. His brother Bart Baggett called me very excited back in the early 1990s, telling me that a letter I received in 1987 was also in fact from Zodiac! That makes two letters so far being authentic.

And in the "early-1990s" Bart Baggett was in his early 20s…and Big Bro Brett was only a couple years older.

And in the intervening years, both Brett and Bart have had numerous charges of fraud levied against them.

Credible sources of legitimate intel? I’d think not…

But given where they grew up, I might be inclined to investigate whether they had anything to do with the League City letter…

I did not mention the name Brett? The nation’s "top expert" whom I was informed of is Curt Baggett! Please don’t make assumptions!

The same types of fraud charges levied against Bart Baggett and Brett Baggett over the years have also been levied against Curt Baggett…the apples don’t fall far from the tree, as they say…

How much did you pay Curt Baggett for his "expert" opinion that the letters you allege to have received from your stalker are in actuality Zodiac communications?

Law enforcement thought that the EAR/DeAngelo may have been killed by an intended victim, so much that detectives did scour contemporary reports looking for a downed intruder. No luck, of course. It appears that EAR did have one very close call with a victim.
I always felt that the Zodiac was so absorbed into such serious criminal behavior that he may have finally brought himself down somehow. Torching of Kathleen John’s vehicle added another dimension to his pathology. Stuff like that shows a high tolerance for risk.
